Answers:

1) B is true – There are 13 parks total in the Rancho Vistoso Planned Area Development (PAD). Two are owned and maintained by the Town of Oro Valley (TOV) – Honey Bee Canyon & Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve. There are 11 parks that are owned and maintained by the VCA. The newest park is to be named and dedicated on November 12 @ 10:30 am. See VCA website home page for details.

2) E is false – alcoholic beverages are not allowed in VCA or TOV parks. A-D are rules for VCA parks. TOV has similar, but different rules for their parks.

3) E – All are true. Only VCA members and guests are entitled to use common area amenities. Ramadas can be used on a first-come-first-serve basis, unless they have been reserved. You can reserve a ramada by completing the ramada form and emailing [email protected].

4) E – This is a trick question. All the above are true for the 3 VCA owned and operated parks with restroom facilities (Hohokam, Wildlife Ridge, NEW PARK to be named November 12 @ 10:30AM). See VCA website home page for details on new park dedication. The restrooms in the 2 TOV parks in Rancho Vistoso (Honey Bee Canyon & Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve) are accessible to the public from 6AM-6PM without an access code.

5) B & C are true – The VCA replaced builder grade park furniture with higher quality/longer lasting park furniture in 6 different park areas in 2022. Shade sails were replaced at 4 different VCA parks in 2022. The VCA only owns 2 tennis courts (Hohokam Park) and they were not resurfaced in 2022. The TOV is planning to build a Splash Pad in Naranja Park. Senior Fitness Equipment is available in Hohokam Park, but no funds were needed for maintenance or replacement in 2022.
