Greetings from the Board

A few updates to be aware of:

  • The electrical work on a few of the Rancho Vistoso Monuments is underway.  They lost power when the streetlights were removed (we kind of expected that).
  • Our landlord “asked” us to move the office a few doors down from the current location.  We were supposed to move around the first of June, but it’s been pushed back.  Please be patient with our professional staff for the next couple of months.

Tales from the Trails (VTNP)

For those of you who think nothing is happening on the Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve Trailhead, here’s an update:

  • The Town Council voted to approve the pond restoration instead of a desert garden.  It was a long and contentious meeting, but the pond won out.
  • The “Do’s and Don’ts” memo that came out a few months ago is under review and a group of Town Council, Senior Town staff, Archaeology Southwest and some Rancho Vistoso residents are in the process of producing a new draft.
