VCA Yard Sale – Saturday October 9 – 7 AM to 2 PM

Associations participating in the yard sale should arrange to have their entry gates open during the scheduled sale hours.

VCA School Supply Drive Completed

Residents provided 97% of the suggested school supplies requested by Painted Sky Elementary and Innovation Academy Teachers. In addition, residents provided cash donations of $150. Should residents be interested in providing more school supplies or cash donations throughout the school year, do not hesitate to contact Laura Feltes at Painted Sky (520) 696-3861, or Beth Lake at Innovation Academy (520) 696-5211 for delivery details.

Use of VCA Common Areas

The Board denied food trucks in the Rancho Vistoso common areas, including designated parks, managed by the VCA. In addition, request to conduct metal detecting in Rancho Vistoso common areas was denied.

Estate Sales

The Board approved case-by-basis estate sales within VCA’s jurisdiction. The Board stipulated that estate sale must be managed by a professional estate sale company, and not by the resident requesting the estate sale. A written request must be submitted to First Service Residential for review to [email protected] or stop by the VCA Office at 945 W Vistoso Highlands Drive Oro Valley, AZ 85755

Update of the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&R’s)

The Board noted that the Governing Documents committee is in the final stages to announce efforts to update the Vistoso Community Association’s 1987 CC&R documents to simplify its readability and comply with current State and Federal statutes. Formal presentations will begin with sub-association Board of Directors and interested residents before the end of year.

A brief review on reconstruction and repair activities was given on the repair of community-wide sidewalk cracking; rebuilding 2 severe erosion locations; progress on 2021 common wall painting; repairs on common wall exteriors and proposal on fill/seal coating of Siena streets.
