Rancho Vistoso Blvd Street Fixture Replacement

On Friday March 24 Mountain Power Electric Contractor will be on property to install 12 light fixtures on Rancho Vistoso Blvd. The twelve fixtures identified in this part of the project are located just north of Safeway.

During the project one lane will be closed while the contractor is working in the area on Rancho Vistoso Blvd. Traffic control warning signs will be place with arrow boards. Please use caution while driving in this area. (Please see attached map for work area and traffic control measures.)

Chris Monrad from Monrad Engineering was engaged by the Vistoso Community Association Board of Directors to evaluate the current street lighting condition along Rancho Vistoso Blvd. His report recommended new LED street lighting luminaries to improve light levels and minimize glare conditions into nearby residential properties. A 10 light demonstration project was suggested near Safeway moving north on Rancho Vistoso Blvd. The board did direct Mr. Monrad to move forward with the project and solicit bids. Proposals were reviewed by the board at the October 27, 2022 General Session Meeting and Mountain Power Electrical Contractor was selected to install the new fixtures.

Chris Monrad was instrumental in getting two additional fixtures for the VCA from another project and Mountain Power Electrical will install at no additional cost to the association.
