Greetings from the Board:
Please Vote in the VCA election! There are two openings for single family representation and 5 Rancho Vistoso members running for those Board positions. We also have board positions for a commercial director and one for other-than-single -family, although we only have one candidate running for each position. In addition, we need to pass the minutes and the IRS document.
You have until April 3rd to fill out the form to join one of our committees. So far the participation has been somewhat underwhelming. Click HERE to download the Committee Volunteer form.
We had a number of questions (and complaints) about commercial vehicles parking in our neighborhoods. The Board issued a new resolution at the January 29th meeting to clarify that commercial vehicles are not allowed to be parked, kept or stored in the community. The following link defines what is considered to be a commercial vehicle (https://ranchovistosohoa.com/resident-information/policies-and-resolutions/)
The invitation for Bids on the Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve Pond Project has been advertised. The bids are due March 20th. We are getting closer to having our beloved pond back on the Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve.
One last time: PLEASE VOTE IN THE RANCHO VISTOSO ELECTION FOR NEW BOARD MEMBERS
Matt.
P. S. – Don’t forget that the next garage/yard sale event is April 11th from 7 am to 2 pm. We have 2 garage sale days each year one in the spring and one in the fall and those are the only days garage/yard sales are allowed in Rancho Vistoso.
Matt Wood – VCA President
