The trail-head is located between Vistoso Village and Sanmaniego Ridge Streets off of Rancho Vistoso Boulevard. This is an easy walking trail that is cemented from beginning to end. The walk down the trail borders a beautiful riparian area and it is possible to see many desert creatures on the walk. There are benches and some tables along the trail if you need to sit down, rest and enjoy the scenery. The trail offers a lot of shade from mesquite and palo verde trees that line the pathway. Toward the end of the trail you will reach Sunset Park that has several picnic benches, barbecues, playground equipment and more. The paved trail ends at Hidden Springs drive but you can continue on for about 1/4 mile through the desert on an unpaved trail to reach Hohokam Park.
