The Town of Oro Valley will be hosting a volunteer opportunity at the Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve next week, Friday, March 20 from 8 – 10 AM.

We will be working to remove invasive grasses that have been popping up and spreading seed balls to help increase the opportunity for native plants to sprout. By actively managing these invaders now, we help preserve and strengthen our native plant community and support the continued growth and resilience of the Preserve.
Date: March 20 – Seed Ball Scattering & Weed Pull (8:00–10:00 a.m.)
Location: Vistoso Trails Nature Preserve (meet in the parking lot)
What to bring: Sun protection(hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing.
What we will have for you: Gloves, bags for weeds, and water.
