Rancho Vistoso is a master-planned community, approximately 7,600 acres in size. There are 31 neighborhoods developed by various builders offering a range from entry homes to million dollar estates. This community features 9 family parks, hiking trails, a baseball diamond, golf course, and offers courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis. The community of Rancho Vistoso is located 20 miles north of downtown Tucson and just 13 miles north of the Tucson city limits. As a foothills community, the elevation is approximately 1,000 feet above that of Tucson, ranging from 2,900 to 3,300 feet above sea level. The diverse animal and plant life in and around Rancho Vistoso is typical of the upland Sonoran Desert.
